CenturionEQ : Setting the Standard in Fire and Rescue Equipment for Over 20 Years

For more than two decades, CenturionEQ, formerly Centurion Fire Rescue Equipment, has been a trusted provider of fire and rescue equipment solutions for emergency services across Australia – and internationally, including New Zealand and the United States. Specializing in ladders, gantries, and vehicle roller shutters, we are recognized for delivering reliable, ultra-high-quality products engineered to endure even the harshest Australian conditions.

Founded in 1998, CenturionEQ began by importing fire rescue ladders from the United Kingdom. By 2001, we had commenced local manufacturing of our signature Centurion2000 Vehicle Roller Shutters. To accommodate our rapid growth, we established new commercial operations in Newcastle, Australia, in 2007-a facility that remains our headquarters to this day.

All our Australian-made products are crafted using premium aluminium and components, ensuring outstanding performance and durability in demanding environments. In 2011, we rebranded our flagship roller shutter as the Centurion3000, a name that reflects its enhanced design and unmatched longevity. Many of our original roller shutters from 2001 are still in use today-and we continue to support them with service and spare parts.

Our ARION Emergency Rescue Ladders are proudly the only locally manufactured ladders to be certified to the internationally recognized BS EN 1147:201 O standard, with third-party certification achieved in 2024.

In 2010, we introduced our RapidStow and RapidStow Max Equipment Gantries, which offer safer, more efficient equipment stowage for firefighters and emergency service professionals. These innovations continue to redefine safety and usability in the field.

CenturionEQ offers extensive customization across our product range, including size, colour, and design options. All products manufactured by CenturionEQ are backed by a comprehensive three-year warranty, reinforcing our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

While our solutions are purpose-built for emergency services, they also serve a wide range of industries, including local government, mining, trades, utilities, air services, police, and defence. Our clients consistently commend our products for their robust construction, thoughtful design, ease of installation, and intuitive features-such as our ergonomic roller shutter handles.

Following our rebranding from Centurion Fire Rescue Equipment to CenturionEQ in 2020, we have implemented a series of transformative improvements – the main one being achieving ISO 9001 :2015 Quality Management Certification in 2025. These milestones reflect our ongoing dedication to refining our processes and exceeding customer expectations.

As we look to the future, CenturionEQ remains committed to delivering exceptional service and expanding our reach to new markets. We continue to innovate and lead with a product range that is durable, dependable, and designed to perform when it matters most.
